Founding Directors of Fairbanks Welcome to Fairbanks and thank you for showing an interest in working for us - our staff are central to our success and we remain committed to attracting and developing talented people who will enable us to achieve our exciting growth plans in the UK and internationally.

Our passion for minimising losses and saving customers' money and waste in the petrol industry was the inspiration behind Fairbanks which was founded in 1996. Since then we have developed our own innovative and award winning systems to detect petrol leaks underground at a very early stage, saving money for retail petrol companies and reducing environmental damage.

We have gone from strength to strength since then, employing over 80 people and continuing to grow despite the recent recession. We are recognised as the UK's leading independent specialist in monitoring and managing petrol station losses. We are therefore known as the Wetstock Management Specialists. Our customers include BP, Tesco & Morrisons in addition to a host of other forecourt retailers. We currently monitor in excess of 12,000 tanks at over 2,700 locations throughout the UK, Ireland and, increasingly, internationally.

The nature of our business allows us to monitor customers from anywhere in the world with data analysis being the very core of our products and services. As we grow and expand into new markets we have vacancies for more data analysts that we would hope to have in post by September 2011.

We are keen to meet individuals who are passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic, can work on their own initiative and have the skills and abilities to contribute to and be a part of our success. Whilst we will provide full training, you will need to be highly numerate, able to analyse data, work as part of a team and able to communicate with our customers at all levels. An eye for detail and the ability to learn are also important attributes.

An interest and aptitude in languages would be beneficial to our international growth plans (but is not essential). We particularly welcome applications from graduates and post graduates who are seeking a challenging and rewarding career path with a dynamic company.

In return we offer a friendly supporting working environment, excellent working conditions in modern spacious offices, with ample free parking. We offer full training, regular appraisals and support for your professional development - we want you to grow with us. Our benefits include a starting salary of £16,000, a flexible holiday scheme, health care plan and a company pension scheme.
